Driver App
- Platform: Android (available on Google Play)
- Accessibility Features:

- Large buttons for accepting/declining rides
- Audio notifications for new ride requests
Known App Accessibility Issues
- Some map interactions may be difficult for screen reader users
- Real-time location updates may not provide adequate audio feedback
We are working to improve mobile app accessibility in future updates.
Physical Accessibility - Vehicle Services
XTaxi24 is committed to providing accessible transportation:
- Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles: Currently 5 vehicles, with more joining soon
- Booking Assistance: Passengers can specify accessibility requirements when booking
- Driver Training: All drivers receive disability awareness training
- Service Animals: Welcome in all vehicles
- Assistance: Drivers can provide reasonable assistance getting in/out of vehicles
What We're Doing to Improve Accessibility
Our current improvement plan includes:
- Conducting a full accessibility audit by December 2025
- Implementing keyboard navigation improvements across all pages
- Ensuring all form fields have visible, properly associated labels
- Improving colour contrast ratios throughout the site
- Adding ARIA labels to all interactive elements
- Testing with real users who have accessibility needs
- Training staff on accessibility best practices
